LIP Chronograph - Lot 160

LIP Chronograph Mach 2000 chronograph watch designed by Roger Tallon in the 1970s. Black anodized aluminum alloy case, black dial with two recessed sub-dials—a minute counter at 3 o’clock and a seconds counter at 9 o’clock—and a date window at 6 o’clock. White luminescent hands and a fluorescent yellow seconds hand; pushers shaped like sandblasted spheres in the black version. Screw-down steel case back numbered 080369. Signed rubber strap. Manual-winding mechanical movement Dimensions: 45 x 40 mm The watch was in working order at the time of appraisal; however, there is no guarantee of future functionality or the condition of its parts. Both pushers and one strap pin are missing; the hand of one sub-dial needs to be re-threaded; and there are scratches on the case and crystal.
