Directoire-period portico clock with obelisks in white marble, black marble, and gilded bronze The obelisks are decorated with applied floral friezes. The rectangular, stepped base is adorned with boundary stones connected by a chain and rests on four flattened feet. The case is surmounted by an urn with a pine cone. The white enamel dial features black Arabic numerals and is signed “Deverberie à Paris.” Hanging by a wire, rear plate signed “Japy Frères et Cies” and numbered 34026 H.: 36.5 cm. W.: 32.5 cm.
