Gilded bronze and brown patina mantel set. The clock depicts Hermes and Demeter seated, garlands of flowers at their feet, and leaning on the case topped by a bouquet in a vase. The clock rests on seven feet, four of which are decorative tops. The case is marked P1815 on the back. Circular white enameled dial with Roman numerals and railroad minute track, openwork cloverleaf hands, beveled glass. JAPY frères movement, stamped on the back plate, numbered 937, lamellar suspension (balance wheel missing). 34 x 50 x 15.5 cm A pair of candelabra with four lights and a central shaft (one extinguisher and one wick missing), decorated with foliage; circular tripod base.
