Isabelle EMMERIQUE (France, born in 1957) “Soft and Light” A composition of three lacquer panels forming a kimono-style folding screen (the right panel is missing), featuring an abstract design in red, black, and gold. Signed and dated 1991 within the design of the missing right panel. 155 cm x 114 cm for the complete version, 155 cm x 85 cm for the present piece. The work is featured in the 2012 book dedicated to the artist, published by Nicolas Chaudun, on page 172. Chips and crazing.
