Silver plaque after Jules Clément Chapelain to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Danish brewery NY Carlsberg. Obverse: a peasant woman, holding a sword in her right hand and a flag on her shoulder in her left, surrounded by cut barley ears. NY-CARLSBERG-LABOREMVS-PRO-PATRIA (Let's work for our country). Reverse: allegory, Science, on the left, in the guise of a draped young woman, stands and offers a still to Industry, seated in front of her with ears of wheat or barley in her left hand. 1817-1847-1871. Boar's head and silver hallmark on the edge. Weight 112.20 g - 71 x 51 mm. A similar example in the collections of the British Museum, ref. 1963-1112.16
