Limited edition of 500 numbered copies, this one no. 6, one of 30 on Japon impérial, including 3 states of illustrations and an original watercolor on the title page. Bound in red half-maroquin with corners, spine with 4 raised bands, top edge gilt, covers and spine preserved, signed René Aussourd. In a slipcase. Publisher's copy justified by hand by F. Ferroud "mon exemplaire", enriched with a signed typescript letter from the author dated February 8, 1918 to Ferroud concerning a new printing of this work, a signed typescript letter from Crès to Ferroud dated February 26, 1918 concerning a letter received from Marc Leclerc, an autograph letter signed by Marc Leclerc to Ferroud concerning an edition of six hundred copies of the work and an autograph letter signed by Léon Lebègue to Ferroud dated July 18, 1916 on his activities, his work as an artist and the situation of the art and luxury market at the time of the War.
