Bound in full violet morocco, boards with 7 framing gilt fillets, 5-rib ornate spine, silk moire endpapers, double marbled paper endpapers, covers and spine preserved, signed E. Maylander. In a slipcase. Copy enriched with the typed letter commissioning the artist to produce the illustrations for the book, signed by M. Exbrayat, President of the Société des Bibliophiles Franco-Suisses, a signed autograph letter from the author to the artist dated April 14, 1935, congratulating him on the illustration of the book, a signed autograph letter from the author to the artist dated January 18, 1936, thanking him for the illustration of the book after publication (a few stains), a signed original drawing (unidentified) depicting a portrait of the author and a large original drawing by Théo Van Elsen.
