Fort and large in-4 sheets in publisher's slipcase and filled cover, edition illustrated by Louis Icart with 22 original off-text drypoints in color and 2 in-text. Limited edition of 165 numbered copies, this one n°68, one of 100 on Rives. Enriched with an original drawing by the artist on the title page, accompanied by a signed autograph letter to H. Alméras. Henri Alméras was one of the great names in perfumery in the first half of the 20th century. After joining Paul Poiret's Parfums de Rosine in 1914, he became the first nose for Jean Patou perfumes in 1925, creating such fragrances as Amour Amour and Joy. (rubbing and wear to slipcase).
