Unidentified correspondence, in connection with the publication of a serial in the Petit Moniteur. "My dear friend, Despite my desire to fulfill the commitment I authorized you to make to the readers of the Petit Moniteur, it is impossible for me to deliver the promised novel on the agreed date.
