Silver brazier resting on three legs with wooden glides. The legs and uprights feature scrollwork, molded bands, cartouches, and acanthus leaves. The upper rim is openwork with medallions. Side handle made of turned wood. The upper rear band (hallmarked with the Rooster: 1809–1819).
Master silversmith: Philippe Lamotte, admitted around 1750/1760
Dunkirk 1772–1773 or 1776–1777
Included is a silver (950°/°°) alcohol burner that fits inside the burner by G. Boin, a late 19th-century Parisian piece.
