Pierre-Jacques MEURICE (Acquitted in 1806)
Silver (950) candy dish with a circular base, partially engraved in the amati style with a wreath of flowers and encircled by a frieze of small waves, resting on four claw feet. The body is carved with figures of vestal virgins and flanked by two lion-head handles. The lid is engraved with a wreath of flowers and topped with a bouquet. Crystal interior.
