Pierre-Jacques MEURICE (Acquitted in 1806) Silver (950) oil and vinegar set with an octagonal base encircled by an openwork gallery featuring crossbars and resting on four claw feet. It features two baskets with friezes of water leaves in openwork design and a band of Vestal Virgins, as well as a tapered stem with beveled sides topped by a fruit basket whose handle serves as a grip. Includes two cut crystal carafes with their stoppers.
