A significant silver (925) table piece depicting a group of stags at the foot of a vine stock, topped by a removable section designed to hold a goblet. Tripod base decorated with acanthus leaves, volutes, and medallions monogrammed “H.”
Signed “MORTIMER” on the base and numbered 6959.

This piece is comparable to a table centerpiece from the same workshop featuring a similar ornamental repertoire as well as a removable upper section, analogous to ours, allowing the piece to be transformed into a candelabra (missing from our piece).
