Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, a cartoon cotton shirt printed - Lot 106
Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, a cartoon cotton shirt printed after an episode of Donald Duck, Canvas Back Duck. This series dates from December 25, 1953, when Donald Duck wins a fight in the ring, justifying the dialogues "Fights", "KO!" and "Winner". Summer shirt with straight cut, short sleeves and front closure with seven buttons. Claw in white grosgrain with black graphics mentioning JC de Castelbajac, Paris. Size M equivalent. Years 2000-2010. Good condition. Donald Duck, full name Donald Fauntleroy Duck, is an American fictional character created in 1934 by animator Dick Lundy for Walt Disney Studios. He made his first film appearance on June 9, 1934, as a duck in a sailor suit, in the movie The Wise Little Hen. At the start of his film career, this grumpy, angry duck served as a counterpoint to Mickey Mouse's progressively more composed character. He soon became the hero of his own cartoon series.Expert: Serge LIAGRE
