BERGMANN Franz Xavier (1861–1936) Bronze group with a polychrome patina depicting a draped alcove topped by a crowned canopy. Cupid stands at the top of the steps guarding the entrance, his quiver at his feet, pulling back the curtains to reveal a woman reclining on a chaise longue in a Rococo interior, with a young man kneeling at her feet. Artist’s mark on the back: B in a jug and signed NAM GREB Vienna, early 20th century Dimensions: 33 x 17 x 15 cm Electrified at a later date, wear on the patina
