"Fledermaus" living room set in stained bentwood, comprising a table with a slightly concave circular top incorporating a glass panel with a black enamel geometric design, blue and cream on a slightly recessed four-legged base with tubular legs joined at the top and bottom by a small sphere on a circular base edged with brass, and four chairs with curved, enveloping backs and oval seats adorned with four small spheres on the underside, on an angled base with tubular legs joined by a low horseshoe-shaped crossbar. Backrest and seat covered in black and blue geometric patterned fabric on a cream background (wear and scratches).

History: This set is a contemporary reissue of the designs created by Josef Hoffmann in 1907 for the decor of the Fledermaus cabaret in Vienna. Following an initial historic production by the firm Jacob & Josef Kohn, Wittmann now offers reissues of these iconic designs.
