L.A.S. S.l., 14 Floréal year 12. 1 p. in-12. About Benjamin Franklin's Gazette, which carries "the list of letters remaining at the Philadelphia Post Office", unlike France, which burns them. Suggests doing the same; COLLET, Abbé. L.A.S. to Count Mathieu de Montmorency, at the Hôtel de Luynes. Compiègne, July 31, 1815. 3 pp. in-4. Claims housing from M. de Lancry, mayor of the town, and argues for his long and loyal service and that of his mother (who was concierge of Compiègne castle for thirty years), mentions a memoir his correspondent read before the King, mentions the rule exempting the clergy from the right to housing, etc.; D'ARNAULT, Ambroisine.
