SAMSON - 20th century An important covered and baluster vase in green-family polychrome enameled porcelain, with butterflies flying over a flower basket in four reserves on a background of peonies and lotus flowers on a green background. The shoulder is decorated with a frieze of peonies and lotus in foliage, and the lid with plum trees on a broken-glass motif. (Base and lid pierced). H. 57 cm. Mounted as a lamp at a later date
