CHINA - Circa 1900 Wooden portable dressing table, opening through the lid to reveal a mirror and ten compartments, the handles in the shape of auspicious objects, and through two front leaves with carved gold-lacquered decoration of figures in gardens revealing three drawers, the brass fittings openwork on the lid with a medallion of figures in a garden surrounded by auspicious objects and phoenixes in the spandrels, the sides decorated with chimera, dragon, jewel, peonies, sapeuces and ruyi.
