Long Kashmir shawl, second half of the 19th century Weaving of polychrome wool yarns and black cotton, creating a composition of long curved stems, poly-lobed mandorls, flowers, foliage and boteh spread around a central medallion in the shape of an eight-pointed star with a black background. The border is harlequinned with small polychrome arcatures and fringed on both short sides. Numbered label sewn on back. Shawl dimensions: 340 x 160 cm Perfect condition, tiny stains.
