Long cashmere shawl, second half of the 19th century Woven from multicolored wool and black cotton threads, forming a composition of long, curved stems, multilobed mandorlas, flowers, foliage, and boteh motifs arranged around a central medallion in the shape of an eight-pointed star on a black background. Harlequin-patterned border of small multicolored arcades, fringed on both short sides. A numbered label sewn onto the back. Shawl dimensions: 340 x 160 cm Small hole, stains, and a few missing fringe strands.
