Marine officer's saber, Consulat / Empire. Chased skirt cap with oak leaf and scale decoration. Flat chased joint arch and curved quillon with acanthus leaf. Marine anchor cruise. Hollow-point blade by Guillaume Knecht. It is engraved on the quarter with a cartouche featuring kabbalistic symbols, a crescent moon and a laurel wreath. Leather scabbard with two brass trimmings, old, applied (accident at the seam). Reverse crosspiece incomplete. Total length: 80 cm. France, Consulate / Empire period.
