Souvenir of Captain Deroja, 3rd voltigeur of the Imperial Guard. Includes: -Imperial Guard officer's sword model 1860. Chased brass mount. Eagle pommel, thunderbolt joint with the numeral "N" in the center and acanthus leaf right quillon. Keyboard with large imperial coat of arms and pumped counter-keyboard marked "DELACOUR FBT DE L'EMPEREUR A PARIS". Blackened horn spindle (watermark missing). Straight blade from the Châtellerault factory, triangular section marked "Capitaine Deroja, au 3e voltigeur de la Garde Impériale". Scabbard missing. Total length: 96 cm. France, Second Empire period. - Officer's saber of the Vincennes chasseurs. Bronze mounting. Oval cap with long tail decorated with laurel wreath and features. Joint arch pierced for the lanyard to pass through, from which two branches form the shell decorated with a laurel wreath on a background of four pennants and stars. Star-decorated scrolled quillon. Horn spindle, watermark missing. Curved blade by "Coulaux" in Klingenthal. Scabbard missing. Total length 90cm. France, Second Empire period. -Senior officer's saber model 1855. Bronze mounting, chased crown cap, fillet joint arch, flower-decorated openwork top, drop-shaped quillon. Horn spindle, watermark missing. Straight blade with two gutters marked Solingen and "Of SUPERIEUR M 1855". Iron scabbard with two straps and suspension rings. Oxidation. Total length: 102 cm. France, Third Republic period.
