Hours of Nostre Dame for the use of Rouen. Rouen, Nicolas Vaultier, s.d. [ca. 1580]. In-8, edition in Gothic type illustrated with numerous woodcuts. The colophon of the great suffrages in the name of Georges Loyselet. Bound in full posterior calf, the period boards preserved with rich decoration of semis of small tri-lobed irons, important azure irons in the spandrels, monogram of the Society of Jesus in the center surrounded by a large wreath of leafy branches, quadruple monograms at the top and bottom of the first board, ornate spine with 5 nerves. (major restorations to binding, small leather chips and wormholes to binding, last few leaves incomplete, title page dampstained and restored, first engraving badly missing, soiling).
