OVIDE. Métamorphoses en rondeaux. Paris, De l'Imprimerie royale, 1676. In-4, granite calf, spine decorated, red speckled edges (contemporary binding). Fine engraved intaglio illustration, including a frontispiece after Charles Le Brun and numerous vignettes in the text, by Sébastien Le Clerc. Handwritten bookplate crossed out at bottom of title, wet stamp on title. Frontispiece a little soiled, a few light spots and foxing. Spine rubbed, headpieces missing, corners worn, one cut open over 10 cm.
