WAR 1870 . 21 L.A.S. from Albert DIDIER to his mother, Paris September 19, 1870-February 10, 1871; mostly 3 pages in-8 with address, stamp and postmarks. Interesting correspondence on life in Paris during the siege. The letters are addressed to his mother in Saint-Symphorien near Tours, then from November 9, 1870, to Arromanches (Calvados). From September 29 to January 26, 1871, 16 letters (on fine paper) were sent "Par Ballon Monté". 2 old parchments and a photograph are enclosed.
