Official catalog of the "Crimes hitlériens" exhibition held at the Grand Palais shortly after the Liberation. Includes: - a color poster "S.S. Crimes hitlériens" reproduced at the beginning of the volume, - a detailed map of the exhibition, presenting 29 thematic rooms devoted to different aspects of Nazi crimes, - numerous photographic reproductions from German archives, seized documents and photographs taken during the liberation of the camps, - documentary sections devoted to concentration camps (including Natzweiler-Struthof concentration camp), as well as internment and deportation sites in France (Pithiviers, Beaune-la-Rolande, Drancy). Propaganda and testimonial document, intended to show the French public the extent of the Nazi regime's crimes immediately after the Second World War.
