Model 1821 infantry officer's saber. Brass mounting. Oval cap with laurel wreath, round jointing bow and small hilt branch, curved quillon. Wooden spindle covered with watermarked leather. Curved blade with engraved groove and gutter, one-third gilded and blued, oxidation. Leather scabbard with two brass fittings (accident). Total length 86 cm. France, Restoration period.
