Model 1821 infantry officer's saber. - Lot 20
Model 1821 infantry officer's saber. Chased brass and horn mounting. Oval cap with laurel wreath, shuttle joint bow, small hilt branch and missing quillon. Horn spindle, watermark missing. Klingenthal blade, curved with groove, gutter and counter-edge. Leather scabbard with three brass fittings, type 1845, oxidation and minor accidents. Total length: 90 cm. France, first half of the 19th century.
