Model 1821 infantry officer's saber. - Lot 19
Model 1821 infantry officer's saber. Chased brass mounting. Oval cap with laurel wreath, shuttle joint bow, small hilt branch and missing quillon. Wooden spindle covered with leather and brass filigree. Blade by the Royal Manufactory of Klingenthal, curved with groove, gutter and counter-edge. Leather scabbard with two brass fittings, oxidation and minor accidents. Total length: 89 cm. France, first half of the 19th century.
