In-4, edition illustrated by Arthur Rackham with numerous in-text and full-page black vignettes and 13 color plates mounted on strong paper under captioned serpente, including one frontispiece.
Bound in full publisher's vellum, decorated on the front cover and spine with special gilded irons, smooth spine, top edge gilded.
Limited edition of 430 numbered copies, this one no. 28, one of 55 head copies on Japon paper, signed by Rackham at the justification.
