[MANUSCRIT]. DUBRAY (Pierre). Survey plan of the Magnanville seigneury. 1731. Large folio, important collection of 31 colored plans showing "in red, the pieces of land belonging to Monsieur Salavete, the houses and buildings of private individuals, in yellow the roads and paths, in green the woods, bushes and hayes, in brown the costes and in blue the boundaries of the territory and the separations of the champtiers", each followed by a table including the numbers, names of the owners, actual quantity and quality of the parcels. Columns for quantity according to titles, charges and fief au roture are also present, but left blank for the vast majority of the numbers described. A total of 1,733 numbers are described. Bound in full contemporary marbled calf, boards with triple filleted borders stamped with the title on the first board, richly ornamented spine with 7 raised bands, red morocco title-piece. (some discharges, small marginal paper losses and hole on leaves 66/67, some rubbing to binding).
