Gilt bronze clock with romantic subject depicting a young woman imploring on her knees before a figure (missing) at the foot of a tree. The base is adorned with animals, water carriers and chimeras. Circular white enamel dial with Roman numerals for the hours and chemin de fer for the minutes. Signed Gaston Jolly Paris. Back plate numbered 305, lamellar suspensions (balance wheel missing). Set on six feet. Missing parts. Height: 42 cm.
