32-pound bronze weight stack. Case divided into five fields punched with geometric motifs and hunting scenes with animals; hasp and its pendant with a sea horse head, two threatening sea lions on the lid, handle supports in the shape of a mermaid with a bifid tail, two sea snakes facing each other forming a handle and three sea dog heads on the case body. Arrow and key hallmark AZ ? Background: Lyon mint calibration mark: letter D surmounted by a fleur-de-lys, verification mark dated 1762, crowned IP mark of Jean Pingard (Lyon 1676-1727), the number 16 and XXXII.MARCS.
