Two fragments of the same fresco, covered with a light-colored slip and painted with haloed figures of saints. The first depicts a bearded saint with long hair and beard, ochre halo on a dark background, in a hieratic style. The second fragment shows a military saint, haloed, wearing a helmet and a red cloak, possibly evoking Saint George or Saint Theodore. Orthodox art, 17th/18th century Bearded saint Height: 14 cm - Width: 15 cm Military saint Height: 18 cm - Width: 19.5 cm Mounted on plasterboard: 21.5 x 24.5 cm and 20.5 x 23 cm (accidents and missing pieces)
