Bonapartist brooch in chased gold (750 thousandths) depicting a crowned eagle standing on an imperial thunderbolt. on the imperial thunderbolt and centered on the blue-enameled N of Napoleon, surrounded by a cluster rose-cut diamonds set in platinum. Tilting pin attachment. Small missing enamel. Late 19th century. No apparent hallmark. H. 3.6 x L. 3.4 cm. Gross weight: 28.5 g.
