Model 9 dragon rifle. - Lot 6
Model 9 dragon rifle. Flintlock lock from the Charleville factory. Pitch and round barrel, dated 1810 on the thunderbolt and remaining Year 9 markings on the breech. Walnut stock (xylophages and slightly shortened barrel) and iron and brass fittings, counterplate marked AP. Pitting, good mechanics. Socket bayonet complete with leather scabbard with two brass fittings. Total length: 143 cm. France, First Empire period. Powder flask with leather body and brass spout.
