MARRET ET JARRY Frères Articulated bracelet in 18k (750th) gold, featuring garnet cabochons on paillon, alternating with interlaced links enhanced with white enamel with black dots. It features an invisible ratchet clasp (cabochons chipped, some enamel missing). French work circa 1850, hallmarked by the master. Gross weight: 57.30 g. Length : 18.50 cm. Historical background: Marret-Jarry Frères, an illustrious 19th-century family firm specializing in the manufacture of jewelry and silverware, existed for only seven years, between 1851 and 1858. Nonetheless, it was an honorary medallist at the 1855 and 1859 World's Fairs.
