"Photographs of British Algae. Cyanotype Impressions", 1843-1993 By Jim Jenkins, in honor of Anna Atkins, botanist and pioneer in the use of the photographic medium, specifically cyanotype for the illustration of printed works, particularly herbariums. The book features twelve cyanotype plates, including four text plates and eight algae plates. Each seaweed was carefully selected for its diversity of form, then collected on the beaches of Terring, Sussex, between 1992 and 1993, November 1993 November 1993, this uncropped set includes twelve cyanotypes printed on Rives B HP paper, numbered 04/50, signed and dated by the author on the back cover.
