Light cavalry officer's saber - Lot 10
Light cavalry officer's saber German-style brass mounting. Plate skullcap connecting the joint arc decorated with lines. Almond-shaped crosspiece and slightly curved quillon. Wooden spindle covered with copper watermarked leather. Fine blade with snap ring, carp tongue and counter-edge. The heel is engraved with a gilded trophy of arms. Brass scabbard with two bracelets and suspension rings. Wooden handles present. Consulate period. Total length : 94 cm
