Officer's sword. - Lot 7
Officer's sword. Chased brass mounting. Pommel with dog head in the form of a crook. Jointed bow with face motif in a medallion and shield-shaped keyboard ending in lion heads, central field with lion's head on a background of antique-style trophies. Missing pin. Wooden spindle covered with mother-of-pearl plates (one missing). Solingen blade, straight with hollow sides, engraved, gilded and one-third blued. Leather scabbard with two brass fittings. Total length 95 cm. Circa 1815/20.
