JAPAN - Early 20th century Pair of porcelain dishes decorated in "tottai shippo" cloisonné enamel, one with a pair of sparrows among peonies, the other with four sparrows near a branch of persimmons, on a faux wood background. The back is decorated in blue underglaze with chrysanthemum branches. The rim is decorated with stylized flowers. (One cracked). 47 cm in diameter
