Officer's sword, First Empire. Chased brass mounting. Pommel with laurel wreath and acanthus leaves, dog-head joint bow. Keyboard with imperial eagle and crowns. On the chest is a star marked with the number N of Napoleon Emperor. Squared wooden spindle. Single-edged straight blade with hollow sides. Solingen production. No scabbard. France, First Empire period.
