CHINA - 18th century Blue-white porcelain service with underglaze blue enamel decoration of an episode from Xixiang Ji (The Romance of the Western Pavilion): two court ladies in gardens around a pavilion in which a man plays the qin while a servant dozes in front of him. The wing is decorated with leaf and bamboo friezes. It is composed of ten soup plates and fifty-three dinner plates (chips and cracks). Diameter: 23 cm
