Model 1821 infantry officer's saber by Mancaux. Gilt and chased brass mounting. Oval cap with laurel wreath, round joint bow, small hilt branch and curved quillon marked "MANCAUX". Wooden spindle covered with shagreen and brass filigree. Curved blade with groove and counter-edge. Without scabbard, oxidation. Total length: 85 cm. France, first half of the 19th century.
