Servan recalls his work Idées à répandre parmi les habitans de la campagne et les propriétaires fonciers, and proposes to form "un comité d'instruction agraire, pour les hommes de la campagne", to print a translation of the best foreign works on agriculture, to send instructions and models of implements; to form an agricultural society in each departmental capital; to distribute seeds according to different climates, etc. He signs: "Joseph Servan lunc".
