Xavier AUDOUIN (1766-1837) publicist and revolutionary, member of the Paris Commune, administrator in the War Department, son-in-law of Pache. L.A.S., Paris August 23, 1792, to the commissioners of the Section de la Porte de Grenelle; 1 page in-fol, vignette and letterhead of the Municipalité de Paris, address. He sends back an order to be carried out, and recommends Mme de Luynes: "I also think that you will hasten to make your report to the Police Committee, since on this depends the tranquility of Mme de Luynes, who has your confidence and esteem. If it were necessary to add to the interest this house has inspired in you, I would beg you, in the name of the kindness you wish to show me, to use the 1st moment you are free to dispose of for this commission"... Attached is a L.S., September 30, 1793, to citoyen Vivenot, concerning his pension patent. ex 9785/567
