Thick ashwood tray, circa 1956, rectangular in shape with rounded edges and punctuated with false tongues and circular covers concealing threaded rods.

History :
Originally, this tabletop was set on four tapered legs in black lacquered folded sheet steel, forming the model 507 dining room table known as quatre couverts.
During a move, the legs were mislaid by the current owners.
