REBOUX (Paul). La maison de danses. S.l. [Paris], pour le compte des auteurs, s.d. [1928]. Fort in-4, edition illustrated by Almery Lobel-Riche with 35 original drypoints. Limited edition of 260 numbered copies, this one no. 36, one of 70 copies on Arches vellum, including a suite in black with remarks and a suite in bistre with remarks. Bound in full blue morocco, the first board decorated with a mosaic of a large geometric composition in ivory, black and mustard leather, enhanced by gilded and cold-stamped fillets, spine boards framed with thick and thin gilded fillets, double marbled paper endpapers, covers and spine preserved. Copy enriched with an important signed autograph letter from the author: "Les cornes des cocus sont comme les dents. They hurt when they grow. Afterwards, you can eat with them! (Spanish proverb) to T. Natan, in friendly memory and as a token of admiration for his artistic work", 3 original drawings by the artist, each accompanied by a signed autograph letter, and 2 line engravings. (brown spots, rubbing at the edges of the first cover, spine uniformly darkened).
