In-4 leaves in publisher's slipcase, edition illustrated by Gérard Blanchard with 12 full color watercolor woodcuts "in the good manner of the cartiers and dominotiers of the Middle Ages, and in the color taste of the master glassmakers of Chartres and Bourges", as well as 21 in-text black woodcuts. Limited edition of 98 numbered copies signed by the illustrator and the typographer (Pierre Malmenaide), this one no. 36. Copy on Auvergne containing a black and red continuation of the hors-texte on simili-Japon and an additional edition on Auvergne of 3 pages.
